An ultra-thin sensor needle with a diameter of 1.5 mm makes your measurement amazingly faster.
■ Rotatable display orientation
Whichever hand you hold the thermometer with, display orientation can be rotated upside down to improve visibility.
■ Maximum/minimum temperature
Maximum and minimum temperatures are shown by a simple operation.
Memory of those temperatures are reset in the cases below:
- when batteries are replaced
- when the Max/Min key is pressed for 5 seconds while either of those values is displayed
■ Hold key function
Available to stop indicated value from changing tentatively
■ Automated power off
The device turns off automatically when no key is touched for 10 minutes.
Description
■ Deeper penetration for a better measurement
To eliminate the effect from ambient temperature and improve accuracy, insert the needle in a target for 20 times as long as the diameter of the sensor needle, thus 30 mm as for PC-9230.
■ Do not use sensor sheaths like a handgrip
Sensor sheaths are made only to protect sensor needles when not in use.
Do not use them as a handgrip, or the thermometer may fall and get broken.
