Note: Do not leave the sensor underwater after use.

Note: When immersing the sensor in water, make sure that the temperature lies between 10 and 40°C, and the depth is less than 1 m.

■ Maximum/minimum temperature

Just pressing once or twice to show the record-highest/lowest temperature

The records are initialized when the device is turned off, or Max/min key is pressed for 3 seconds.

■ Fixed display

Pressing "Hold" key stops refreshing of temperature indication.

■ Auto power off

Shuts down automatically after 60 minutes of operation, to save battery even when you forget to turn off.

Note: This function cannot be disabled.

■ Magnets and hook

Magnets embedded on the rear side of the body enable it to be attached to metal surfaces.

Also, the hook on the top enables the device to be hung down.

Description

■ Tip for accurate measurement

To achieve accurate temperature measurement, insert the sensor part in a target for more than 80 mm (= 20 times of sensor diameter) so that it eliminates the effect from ambient temperature.

■ Cautions to measure high temperature

Be careful not to burn yourself.

Do not store the device while it is hot.

Make sure the continuous measurement time does not exceed 2 minutes if temperature is higher than 50°C, to prevent malfunction or deformation due to corrosion of the plastic body.
